The Church Travels provide for you Hanoi – Sapa tour for 5D4N to enjoy the best of Sapa in the yellow rice terrace season. To enjoy the best of Sapa by trekking, you need to spend at least 3 days in Sapa and staying homestay with local people. This tour include middle to hard trekking level. Therefore. please check your health condition before deciding to join our tour.
Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi, welcomed by our guide and drive to our office in Hanoi downtown, time to relax after your journey. Afternoon free time for you to wandering around and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the Old quarter Hanoi, explore the winding lanes and stop for coffee at local café or taste some local street food if you wish, stop for a chat; local people are busy but friendly if you take time to connect. Enjoy a performance of traditional Water Puppet Show, an art form unique to northern Vietnam.

Enjoy the savor of Hanoi specialty – take your pick from traditional Hanoi Pho (beef noodle soup), Nom (green papaya salad with seasoned beef), Banh Goi (pillow-shaped rice pastry with minced pork and mushroom), Banh Cuon (hot rice paper with pork and fried onion) or Bun Cha (fresh noodle with grilled pork). If you are hungry, try two or three varieties – they are snacks rather than a meal.
A half day hotel will be arrange for you to relax after a long flight and showering before going by night train from Hanoi to Sapa
Around 9.00 pm we will take you to the train station, a softly 4-berth cabin will be arranged for you.
After you have met our tour guide and got to know another over breakfast you will start trekking to the village. There are a number of different routes depending on your fitness levels, so make sure to inform our tour guide what you would prefer and ensure you have enough water for the day.
Trek across the mountains, through fields and beside streams, passing many local faces along the way. You can stop as you wish and will have lunch in a local restaurant, completing a total of 10-12km of trekking on your first day.
When you arrive in Hau Thao village, meet local family and settle into their home. You can help them to cook dinner and learn how the local people cook, including catching and preparing a chicken if you want!
Enjoy dinner with the whole group and indulge in some ‘happy water’, rice wine, as you listen to their stories of life in the valley and share your own too.
After breakfast, our guide will ask you to choose the trekking level you want for the day (easy, medium or hard). Depending on the level you choose, she will guide you back into the mountains to explore some of the other ethnic minority villages of Sapa.
You’ll get the chance to not only enjoy the trekking along Sapa’s stunning mountain trails but also learn about the traditional lifestyles of the local people. You can also buy some handmade souvenirs from local people with our guide haggling for the best price for you!
For your second night you will stay in Ban Ho village with Dzay village.
After breakfast, our guide will take you off beaten track for the second day of trekking and taking in the incredible scenery of Sapa. You’ll get the chance to see a waterfall and learn about rice production, the main industry of the area.
Take a break for lunch and arrive in Sapa at around 3pm.
For the way back, we recommend you to take the bus from Sapa back to Hanoi. You leave at 3:30 pm from Sapa and arrive back to Hanoi around 9:30 pm. Therefore you can take a rest properly in a nice and soft bed in Hanoi after a long trekking time.
Breakfast at the hotel and this day will be a free and relaxing day for you.
Optional: If you still have time, we can help you to arrange a day trip to Halong Bay, Ninh Binh or just a city tour for you to enjoy the rest of your time in the trip.
Free time for you during the day to explore Hanoi by yourselves. We will arrange the transfer to the airport for you to meet your flight.

Price and options
This tour is built upon our firsthand knowledge & experience, offering you the best choices available. The price of this trip varies depending on the number of people in your party, dates of departure, and availability of ground services. The price is quoted based on join-in group tour rate in each destination.
The prices are quoted in US Dollars per person based on 2 pax/room.
Deposit & Payment Policy – A deposit of 30% of the tour value by credit card or bank transfer plus bank charges (processing fees) is required upon confirmation of your booking (If the tour value is less than US$500, a 50% deposit will apply).
Note: If you pay by credit card, please add 3% for bank fee.
Once a deposit is received it is understood that you have read, understood and accepted all our Terms and Conditions.
The full pre-payment will be required no later than 15 days before departure for all services by money transfer or credit card payment with all bank transfer charges/ fees to be paid by the client.
Cancellations & Refunds – Non-refundable deposit of 10 USD for hotels, air ticket, transportation or other separated services booking upon service confirmation.
Requests for cancellation of confirmed bookings must be made in writing and addressed to either The Church Travels directly or through your booking agent and will be subject to the following cancellation fees:

Greater than 30 days prior to arrival date – The Church Travels will fully refund for you.
15 – 29 days prior to arrival date – 20% of the total payment will be redeemed by The Church Travels for processing fees and supplier charges
3 – 14 days prior to arrival date – 30% of the total payment will be redeemed by The Church Travels for processing fees and supplier charges.
Less than 3 days prior to arrival date – 50% of total payment will be redeemed by The Church Travels.
